Symptoms of Monkeypox disease
The incubation time of this disease lasts for about 7-14 days when the patient experienced flu-like symptoms namely fever, chills, fatigue, and headaches. Then swelling of the lymph nodes is followed aiding the body to battle the infection. According to CDC, the swollen lymph nodes are the characteristic feature that differentiates monkeypox and smallpox.

The second stage of the disease is the rashes that appear on the face and the body, specifically inside the mouth, soles of the feet, and on the palm. These fluid-filled rashes burst open and scab over to resolve in a duration of 2-3 weeks.
